The SwipeTrash app is free. Customers pay per pickup for the volume collected. On-demand and scheduled pickups start from GH₵10. There are no monthly plans, setup fees, or cancellation charges.

## How it works

1. Request pickup — In the app (https://app.swipetrash.com), choose a date and time, or set recurring pickups. Specify waste type and amount. Same-day pickup is available when capacity allows.
2. We collect — A trained collector arrives, handles bags and bins, and takes the waste. Customers can track the collector in real time and get notifications when they are on the way.
3. Sort and recycle — Waste is sorted and sent to recycling or composting facilities when possible. Customers get confirmation, a receipt, and pickup history in the app.

## Pricing

- On-demand pickup: from GH₵10 per pickup. Request when needed; pay for volume collected.
- Scheduled pickups: from GH₵10 per pickup. Recurring days; pay only for pickups performed. No monthly fee.
- Payment methods: cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), mobile money, and bank transfers.
- Refunds: cancellations more than 24 hours before the scheduled time; processed in 5–7 business days to the original payment method.

## Service hours

- Pickups: 7 days a week, 6 AM to 10 PM (Ghana time). Requests can be submitted anytime in the app. Emergency pickups outside these hours may be available for an additional fee.
- Phone and email support: Mon–Fri 8am–6pm, Sat 9am–2pm (Ghana time).
- In-app messaging: available from the customer account (Help → Contact Support).

## What we collect

General household waste, recyclables (plastic, paper, glass, metal), and organic waste. Collectors sort recyclables and organic waste when possible. Hazardous or bulky items may need special handling — see in-app guidelines before booking.
