You can request pickups anytime through our app. We operate 7 days a week from 6 AM to 10 PM for scheduled pickups. Emergency pickups may be available outside these hours for an additional fee.

The SwipeTrash app is available for both iOS and Android devices. You can download it from the App Store or Google Play Store. You can also use our website to request pickups without downloading the app.

Yes, our app is completely free forever! You only pay for the waste collection services when you schedule a pickup. No subscription fees, no hidden costs.

Click 'Sign Up' on the login page, enter your details, and verify your email. You can also sign up using your Google account for faster registration.

Pricing & Payment

We use pay-as-you-go pricing: you pay for the volume we collect at each pickup. On-demand and scheduled pickups start from GH₵10 per pickup. No monthly plans. View our pricing page for full details.

We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, digital payment methods (Apple Pay, Google Pay), mobile money, and bank transfers. All payments are processed securely through our encrypted payment system.

No, our pricing is completely transparent. The price you see is the price you pay. There are no hidden fees, setup costs, or cancellation charges.

Refunds are available for cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled time. Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days to your original payment method.

We charge based on the number of pickups and the type of waste collected. You can view your billing history in your account dashboard.

You're charged immediately when you schedule a pickup. For recurring pickups, you're billed after each completed collection. You'll receive payment confirmation via email and push notification.

Yes, all payment information is encrypted and processed through PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways. We never store your complete card details on our servers. Your security is our top priority.

Service & Collection

We collect general household waste, recyclables, and organic waste (including plastic, paper, glass, metal). We also help with proper sorting and ensure everything is disposed of or recycled responsibly. Check our bin types section in the app for specific categories. Some items may require special handling—see our guidelines in the app.

Navigate to the Schedule page in the app or use our website, select your bin types and quantities, choose a date and time, and confirm your pickup. You can also set up automatic recurring pickups. You'll receive a confirmation notification.

Yes! Once your pickup is scheduled, you can track your collector in real-time through the app. You'll receive notifications when the collector is on the way and when the pickup is complete.

You can cancel or reschedule through the app or website up to 24 hours before your scheduled time. Go to your schedule list and click the cancel button. For same-day changes, please contact our support team.

Yes! When creating a schedule, select the 'Recurring' option and choose your frequency (daily, weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly). You can manage all recurring schedules from your Schedule page.

If you miss your scheduled pickup, contact us immediately. We may be able to reschedule for the same day or the next available slot.

Eco-Friendly & Sustainability

Absolutely! We prioritize proper waste disposal and recycling. Our collectors are trained to sort waste correctly, and we partner with certified recycling facilities. We also provide usage analytics so you can track your environmental impact.

Yes, we help you recycle properly. Our collectors sort recyclables and ensure they're sent to certified recycling facilities. We also provide guidance on what can and cannot be recycled.

We collect organic waste separately and ensure it's sent to composting facilities when available. This helps reduce landfill waste and creates valuable compost for agriculture.

Yes! Through the app, you can view your waste pickup history and see metrics like how much waste you've diverted from landfills and your recycling contribution.

Account & App

Go to your account settings, click on 'Edit Profile', and update your email address. You'll receive a confirmation email to verify the change.

Navigate to Account → Edit Password. Enter your current password, then your new password twice. Passwords must be at least 8 characters with uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and special characters.

First, check that notifications are enabled in Account → Edit Notifications. Then verify your device's notification permissions for SwipeTrash. Also ensure the master toggles for Push and Email notifications are turned on.

Yes! Go to Account → Edit Notifications to control exactly which events trigger notifications. You can enable/disable notifications for payments, schedule updates, messages, and more. You can also set Quiet Hours to avoid notifications between 10 PM and 7 AM.

Critical alerts like emergency cancellations or urgent schedule changes may override Quiet Hours settings to ensure you don't miss important information. Regular notifications will respect your quiet hours preference.

Contact our support team through the app's Help section to request account deletion. We'll verify your identity and process the request within 48 hours. Note that this action is permanent and cannot be undone.

The app requires an internet connection for most features. However, you can view previously loaded schedules and billing history offline. Any actions taken offline will sync when you reconnect.
